Seminary "Simulators in Aviation - New Technologies"

The Seminary "Simulators in Aviation" took place on November 16-17, 2008. The Seminary was organized by the State Aviation Council in cooperation with the following companies: Thales Training & Simulation, CAE Elektronik GmbH Simulation Products & Military Training, Polish Airlines "LOT" S.A. and Polish Air Force Academy (PAFA) in Dęblin.

The first session was held in LOT premises in Warsaw and was devoted to the role of simulation systems in civil aviation as well as to presentation of the latest world solution in this field.

The second session took place in Polish Air Force Academy in Dęblin and focused on modern simulation and training systems to support flying and ground personnel training.

The Institute was represented by: Deputy Director Andrzej Żyluk, Prof. Jerzy Lewitowicz and Dariusz Rataj (Head of Business Development Department), who presented the latest systems supporting training processes in aviation, using the example of the e-learning system "SOWA", developed in AFIT and being implemented in PAFA.
