The Second EDA Workshop on Increased Availability of Helicopters for ESDP operations - Helicopters Upgrades and Support took place on September 25, 2008
in Brussels.
The Workshop was chaired by EDA Armaments Director Mr Jukka Juusti.
The Polish side was represented by delegation of Armament Policy Department (MoD), Inspectorate for Armed Forces Support, Military Aircraft Works No. 1,
PZL-Świdnik. The Air Force Institute of Technology was represented by Dariusz Rataj and Cezary Ciarciński, who presented Polish upgrade solutions applied
on helicopters operated by the Polish Armed Forces Aviation, the role of AFIT as a system integrator and the Institute's potential in the field of
engineering support for helicopters' operation.
