AERO INDIA 2009 took place on February 11-15, 2009 in Bangalore (India). It is the most important event of the air force sector in this part of
the world. The Armed Forces of India are focused on upgrade of their military potential, thus the fair gathered over 300 exhibitors from 25 countries.
The Polish defence industry was represented by BUMAR and PHZ CENZIN. The Air Force Institute of Technology exhibited on PHZ CENZIN's booth. The
particular attention of the Indian side was drawn to avionic and communication systems integration for W3-PL Głuszec and the upgrade of M-17 and Mi-24
helicopters.
The Air Force Institute of Technology was represented at the AERO INDIA 2009 by the Head of Business Development Department Dariusz Rataj and by
Marcin Lep.
