The Third World Congress Aviation in the XXI century. Safety in aviation and space technology was organized in Kiev, Ukraine, on September 22-24, 2008.
The Congress was organized by the National Aviation University in Kiev. The objective of the Congress was to analyze global trends in safety aviation and
to discuss practical, experimental and theoretical achievements in the field.
The Air Force Institute of Technology was represented at the Congress by Director General Ryszard Szczepanik, who had a conversation with the President
of National Aviation University Prof. Mykola Kuryk concerning the possibility of mutual cooperation in the field of aviation and aircraft fleet upgrade.
The delegation of the National Aviation University was invited to visit the Institute.
