The 17th International Defence Industry Exhibition was held at Kielce on 31.08 - 03.10.2009. The unquestionable attraction of the Fair was the
opportunity to exhibit the modern armaments and military equipment of Polish Armed Forces. MSPO in Kielce is one of Europe's largest and most important
events dedicated to the defence industry.
The Air Force Institute of Technology presented the following achievements:
- Helmet Mounted Display System for SWPL-1 helicopters
- Air Targets Unmanned Demonstrator
- Air Weapon Command System Integrator
- Practice Bomb LBCw-10
- Integrated Avionics System
- WW-15 Launcher 71,5 mm non-guided missiles
- TS-11 F "ISKRA" - training aircraft with new engine GE J85 Digital Avionics, Martin Baker Mk-11 - ejection seat.
The Air Force Institute of Technology (together with Przemysłowy Centrum Optyki SA) have been granted the President of Poland prize for product best
serving rising protection of Polish soldiers for Flight Parameters Display System - SWPL-1.
A Year by year stand AFIT has began very popular with visitors. Stand not only was visited by MON, BBN, SGWP representatives but also from many foreign
delegations. During this time ITWL had many business conversation with USiW leading companies which will show results in time.
The Institute was represented by: Director General Ryszard Szczepanik, Deputy Director Andrzej Żyluk, Business & Development Department, and
representatives of Research & Development Divisions.
