Road and Airfield Engineering; Tests of Building Materials
The Division for Airfield Systems provides services in the field of road and airfield engineering, including:
- expert advice in construction work,
- giving expert opinions concerning maintenance status of airfield and road pavements, as well as giving the reasons of their damage,
- diagnostic tests of airfield and road pavements (load-carrying capacity, evenness, stock-taking, etc.),
- tests and assessment of suitability of building materials used for military airfields,
- laboratory research while performing construction work,
- giving an opinion on projects, recipes, and the way of realisation of construction work,
- geotechnics research for road and airfield engineering.
