The Military Centre for Scientific Information (MCSI) at AFIT deals with coordination and support of publishing periodicals and scientific book series devoted to aeronautical engineering, which are written by research workers of AFIT.

Research workers of AFIT, with editorial support from MCSI, publish a lot of articles, conference papers in specialist publications and in scientific publications for the general public, as well as in professional journals in Poland and abroad. A considerable number of these studies were translated into English and German.

The activities of the Military Centre for Scientific Information focus on:

• creating information, information processing and making scientific and technical information available, including:
• publication activity;
• working out the scientific collections of the library;
• creation or purchase, as well as maintenance of a database;
• popularising and promoting scientific and technical achievements, especially through:
• subscribing scientific journals, in particular those devoted to aeronautical issues, published in Poland and abroad;
• popularising scientific research of AFIT in the mass media;
• promoting innovative works, which use scientific research findings;
• standardization activities;
• patent activities.
