This book presents the results obtained from project on the ‘Application of a non-contact method for monitoring the vibration of ND37 rotor blades in a LP 18K370 steam turbine stage’. Included are analyses of free and forced rotor blade vibrations, unsteady forces and flutter, as well as an online tip-timing system and measurements. Moreover, proposed are modernisation solutions for the last stage in LP steam turbines.
