The delegation of the Defense Policy Department of the Ministry of Defense (DPZ MON) paid a study visit to ITWL. The host of the meeting, which took place on 7.02.2020, was the Director of the Institute Ph.D.D.Sc. Eng. Mirosław Kowalski, prof. ITWL.

The delegation of DPZ MON was chaired by the Head of the Department of Ownership Supervision - Mrs. Aleksandra Rotnicka. The Institute, in addition to Director Mirosław Kowalski, was represented by the Deputy Directors: prof. PhD.D.Sc. Eng. Andrzej Żyluk, PhD. Eng. Jarosław Sarnecki, PhD. Eng. Jarosław Sulkowski, Vice-President of the ITWL Scientific Council prof. PhD.D.Sc.Eng. Józef Żurek, Managers of Scientific Departments, Departments and laboratories.
Guests visited static exhibition with impact and surveillance unmanned aerial vehicles developed at ITWL, Jet-2 Jet Aerial Target UAV and projects implemented at the Armaments Plant.
Then, the guests paid a visit to the Aerospace Materials Laboratory and the C4ISR Division, where Deputy Director Jarosław Sulkowski presented the areas of the Institute's activity under NATO AGS and WISŁA programs. After the visit to the On-Board Systems Laboratory, the guests were invited to the Avionics Division, in which integration positions of the avionics systems, the Phonoscopy Laboratory, the Laboratory of Diagnostics of Tribological Systems and the Computer Tomography Laboratory were presented in details.
In the last part of the visit, the head of the delegation solemnly entered the Memorial Book of the Institute.

The Air Force Institute of Technology is supervised by the Minister of National Defense. This supervision is exercised by the Ministry of Defense Policy Department of the Ministry of National Defense, which in the structure of ON is responsible for the organization and supervision of the operation of the system for the acquisition, operation and withdrawal of military equipment (SPW), as well as the implementation of projects related to the Ministry's activities in the field of military-technical and industrial issues. The Department's goal is to create conditions for achieving the strategic goals of the state defense system through coherent actions related to the implementation of the Ministry's arms policy.
