On February 17, 2025, the Head of the Military Aviation Authority, Brigadier General Pilot Ph.D D.Sc. Eng. Grzegorz Ślusarz, along with the Deputy Head of the Military Aviation Authority, the Head of the Airworthiness Division, and the Chief Engineer of Military Aviation, Colonel M.Sc. Eng. Karol Budniak, paid a visit to the Air Force Institute of Technology (ITWL).
The guests were welcomed by the Director of the Air Force Institute of Technology, Prof. Mirosław Kowalski, Ph.D. D.Sc.
In the presence of the Institute’s senior management, the Director acquainted the guests with the Institute’s activitym, current research and development projects which are carried out in ITWL and have a significant impact on the functioning of aviation in the Polish Armed Forces.
After the ITWL Director's speech, the floor was taken by representatives of the Military Aviation Authority, who emphasised the important role of ITWL in ensuring the proper functioning of the Air Force, and that the scientific achievements of ITWL should be properly used in the operation of modern aircraft acquired for Poland. Later in the meeting, the guests familiarised themselves with the scientific base of the Institute.
The visit ended with an entry in the Commemorative Book.
