The C4ISR System Integration Division was established at ITWL in 2007. The basic task of the division is:

• integration and support of LINK systems;
• integration and operation of GPS and CSAR systems;
• integration of self-protection systems.

The following units operate as part of the Department:

• Laboratory for interoperability and implementation of LINK systems;
• Office for the integration of Satellite Systems;
• Laboratory of Self Defence Systems.

C4ISR integration Division carries out, among others, project titled Ground Based Object Detection and Tracking System In Low Orbiting Circuits.

The aim of the project was to build a system that allows detecting and identifying objects on low Earth orbits.

The project has the following goals to be implemented:

• development of an optical method of tracking and tracking satellites,
• building a device to implement the above actions
• development of software that performs tasks of automatic detection of satellites,
• integration of developed devices with software,
• development of software enabling remote control of the system.
