From February 10 to 14, 2025, a conference organized by Northrop Grumman, the American technology and defense corporation, took place in St. Augustine, USA. The event was attended by representatives of consortium partners from France, Japan, Taiwan, and Egypt, as well as the U.S. Navy Air Systems Command.
Due to the signing of a Memorandum with Northrop Grumman, representatives of the Air Force Institute of Technology (ITWL) also participated in the conference: Ph.D. Eng. Jarosław Sarnecki – Deputy Director for Organizational and Technical Affairs and Lt. Col. M.Sc. Eng. Jarosław Florczak – Head of the Electronic Warfare Support Laboratory.
The main topics of the conference focused on the maintenance, transformation, and enhancement of operational quality for the E-2C/D Hawkeye system—a platform for airborne early warning and air operations command.
The conference provided valuable insights into the system and the challenges faced by its users. It also reinforced knowledge about aviation support programs and, in the future, will contribute to the development of ITWL’s strategic activities in this field.
