The LIII Winter School of Reliability (ZSN 2025) took place from 6 to 11 January 2025 in Szczyrk, Poland, conducted in a hybrid format. The Air Force Institute of Technology (ITWL) has been a co-organiser of this conference for many years.
The main theme of the event was "Reliability of Technical Systems." The conference sessions featured presentations on scientific advancements in reliability, operation, and diagnostics, as well as discussions on future research directions in line with European and global initiatives. A key highlight was the presentation of recent scientific achievements, including the latest research findings and development projects.
The conference was attended by 112 participants (including 7 from abroad) representing 23 research institutions and companies. A total of 44 papers were presented, along with 39 posters during the poster session—including contributions from ITWL representatives.
The 53rd Winter School of Reliability 2025 addressed a wide range of reliability issues related to various technical systems and applications, particularly in the following areas:
- Air, road, rail, maritime, inland, and pipeline transport, including vehicles, infrastructure, control, and management systems
- Industrial and residential construction
- Electrical and electronic equipment manufacturing
- Information and telecommunication technologies
- Machinery and equipment production
- Logistics systems and processes
- Agriculture and the food industry
- Medicine, healthcare, and environmental protection
- The chemical industry
