On April 3, 2025, Brigadier General Mirosław Bodnar, Inspector of the Unmanned Weapon Systems Forces at the General Command of the Armed Forces (DG RSZ), visited the Air Force Institute of Technology (ITWL).
The guest was welcomed by Professor Ph.D. Eng. Mirosław Kowalski, Director of ITWL.
Following the welcome, the Director, joined by the Institute’s leadership team, delivered a presentation highlighting ITWL’s scientific achievements and research capabilities. He emphasized the Institute’s long-standing experience in conducting research and development projects in the field of Unmanned Weapon Systems (UWS).
After the Director’s remarks, Brig. Gen. Mirosław Bodnar addressed the audience, underlining the strategic importance of UWS on the modern battlefield. He emphasized the need to leverage ITWL’s scientific expertise in the further development of UWS solutions for the Polish Armed Forces.
A key part of the visit included a demonstration of UWS equipment developed by ITWL’s research divisions.
To conclude the visit, Brig. Gen. Mirosław Bodnar signed the Institute’s Guest Book.
