On 4 February 2026 at 12:00 p.m., the inaugural meeting of the Scientific Council elected for the 2026–2030 term was held. In accordance with the meeting agenda, the Director of ITWL opened the session by presenting information on the election process and subsequently formally presented the letters of appointment to all members of the Scientific Council.
Following the official proceedings, elections were conducted for the positions of Chair and Deputy Chair of the Scientific Council. Colonel Tadeusz Zieliński from the War Studies University was elected Chair of the Scientific Council, while Colonel PhD, DSc, Eng. Mariusz Zieja from the Air Force Institute of Technology was elected Deputy Chair.
During the meeting, members were also elected to the ITWL Science Committee and to the Committee for the Periodic Evaluation of Scientific, Research, and Technical Achievements of scientific and research-technical staff.
