The Air Force Institute of Technology (ITWL) participated in the International Exhibition of Technical Innovations, Patents and Inventions – INVENT ARENA 2026, held on 17–18 June 2026 in Třinec, Czech Republic.
ITWL presented two inventions, both of which were awarded Gold Medals at the exhibition:
- "Gas Fuel Injector Plate", developed by Paweł Niszczota;
- "Device for Continuous, Autonomous Measurement of the Load-Bearing Capacity of Natural Airfield Surfaces and Pavement Layers Made of Unbound Aggregate Mixtures", developed by Colonel Ph.D. Eng. Mariusz Wesołowski, Lieutenant Colonel Ph.D. Eng. Krzysztof Blacha, M.Sc. Eng. Paweł Pietruszewski, and M.Sc. Eng. Paweł Iwanowski.
In addition, the second invention received the prestigious IFIA Best Invention Award, presented by the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA) in recognition of its outstanding innovation potential, originality and practical value.
The Gold Medals were presented at the exhibition stands, while the IFIA special award was presented on the main stage of the exhibition hall.
The preparation and presentation of the exhibition were coordinated by ITWL Patent Attorney Paweł Ziencik, with the participation of Robert Czaplicki, M.Sc. Eng., Head of ITWL's Promotion Department.
