The 13th Conference on Safety and Reliability (KONBiN 2026) was held in Ostróda from 9 to 12 June 2026.
The conference was organized by the Air Force Institute of Technology (ITWL) and the Faculty of Transport of the Warsaw University of Technology.
The event was co-funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education under the "Science Vectors" (Wektory Nauki) programme.
The Honorary Committee included: Brigadier General Marcin Górka, Director of the Department of Innovation at the Ministry of National Defence; Prof. Marianna Jacyna, Dean of the Faculty of Transport at the Warsaw University of Technology and Prof. Mirosław Kowalski, Director of the Air Force Institute of Technology. The Conference Chair was Prof. Andrzej Żyluk, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs at ITWL. The conference focused on safety and reliability issues in complex human–technical system–environment interactions. The programme included seven plenary sessions, one round-table discussion and a poster session, during which a total of 40 scientific papers were presented.
